Take responsibility, connect people

From Become a Spájz-Master: The Heart of Your Local Group

Take responsibility, connect people, and preserve real taste.

Intro-Text: Every full pantry starts with one person taking the first step. If you have the desire not just to produce for yourself, but to organize your neighborhood, then you are in the right place. We are looking for “Spájz-Masters”—local coordinators who bring the spirit of Kaláka to life in their village or town.

Your Duties as a Spájz-Master You are the conductor of the orchestra, not necessarily the owner of the concert hall. Your role is versatile:

  • The Scout: You don’t always have to host yourself. You organize the appropriate locations within your group—be it a member’s large kitchen, a summer kitchen in the garden, or a shared bakehouse. (Note: We consciously do not use commercial restaurant kitchens due to complex legal regulations).

  • The Planner: Whether baking bread, making ice cream, or classic canning—you plan what is produced. You coordinate the raw materials: Who brings what from their own garden? Where is a collective bulk order from regional producers worth it?

  • The Mentor: While the respective host ensures the cleanliness of their kitchen, you are responsible for ensuring that the participants are trained. You ensure that everyone knows what matters regarding hygiene and processes.

Professional System instead of Amateur Hour: Our Support We provide you with tools usually found in professional food production, adapted for our community:

  1. Seamless Quality Management: Our system is more than a label printer. It ensures the traceability of every batch and guarantees quality.

  2. Resource Management: The system helps you keep track of the group’s raw materials and inventory.

  3. Legal Security: We provide the framework, terms of use, and liability disclaimers so you can focus on what matters.

The Prerequisites We grow organically and safely. Before you start your own group, there is a clear roadmap:

  • The Practical Check: Theory is not enough. You must have actively participated in an existing Kaláka group a few times to understand the processes and dynamics in practice.

  • The Training: You use our special learning materials for founders to prepare for organization and leadership.

  • The Mindset: Whether sourdough, goulash, or ice cream—you understand that hygiene and diligence are the basis for everything we do.

Are you ready to take responsibility? Tell us briefly who you are and where you want to become active. We will then discuss your path to becoming a Spájz-Master together.
